I’m obsessed with bar carts. And if you’re on Pinterest…or living on this planet, then I’m sure you’ve noticed the popularity of the bar cart BOOM!

I personally love the whole Mad Menvibe of them. A bar cart can add instant glamour and interest to any corner of your family or living room (kitchen, patio, etc.). And you may consider using a bar cart as a tea or coffee bar instead. Don’t think you’re limited, if you’re not a booze fan, it’s ok! Think of using one as an accent table, a night stand or in the bathroom to store extra towels and bath products – the possibilities are endless. . Pinterest has plenty of great ideas to help you style your bar cart.

If you’re good at DIY projects, try refurbishing one! More ideas here.

We do like drinking wine + the occasional stiff drink or martini in my house. With the holidays just around the corner + family coming to visit, we enjoy making (and drinking) lovely libations even more. I can’t wait to get a bar cart for my home, style it (my favorite part) + show off our collection of decanters and bareware.

I’m loving the ‘Lolita’ (pictured above). One Kings Lane has great choices for bar carts. And how about all the bar accessories – they’re so fun!

A bar cart is a must-have for your home! I would love to hear the ways you use/will use a bar cart – tell me! And FOLLOW ME ON PINTEREST – http://www.pinterest.com/petalsnpumps/

Pottery Barn Mirrored Makeup Storage

A Glamorous Mirrored Makeup Storage

October 07, 2014

Seriously, how pretty is this mirrored make up storage?! So chic + Hollywood Glam, right?

I have a TON of beauty products (as any blogger + beauty junkie should)! I have been searching for something pretty, practical + functional to display on my bathroom vanity. I first saw this makeup storage a few months ago, but passed it up so I could continue browsing. I finally came back to it last week, and decided this organizer was the one for me << also partly because I had a Pottery Barn rewards discount helped sway my decision – hehe!

I bought the large makeup storage<< there’s a small one + a brush holder available too, if that’s what you’re looking for.

I am so (pleasantly) surprised by how many products it’s able to store!

This large one has:

5 divided compartments on the top, 4 side compartments (2 on each side), 2 middle drawers + 1 large bottom drawer.

Even with all my eye, lip + face products that I have, I still wasn’t able to fill this thing up…yet!

I’m still figuring out how I want to organize my beauty products in it. I spent sometime over the weekend going through + getting rid of any products I haven’t used in a long time, or that have expired. That definitely freed up some space. Right now, my mirrored storage actually looks a bit empty. But I will be able to fill it up with my latest + most favorite products (and of course purchase more!).

If you’re looking for makeup storage, I recommend you consider this pretty one – it will also give that extra ‘oomph’ to your bathroom!

What do you think of this organizer? How do you organize your makeup?

(This, Oh-so-cute instant camera! I spent the weekend taking snap shots of my kids with it. So fun!)

This weekend was the first time my husband and I took our 5-week-old son Mason, out in public as a family of FOUR ♥(I have spent most of our time at home + strolling around our neighborhood). It was time to GET OUT!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend with my family (my mom, sister + niece). We strolled up and down Lincoln Road here, in Miami Beach. Lincoln Road, for those who aren’t familiar, is comparable to The Promenade in Santa Monica, California (if you’re not familiar with The Promenade either… then, sorry. I’m out of references!) We did a little shopping + eating + lots of walking.

I bought my instant camera and this Amazingggg potpourri (↓) for our home.

(Seriously in love with the aroma of this Autumn Harvest potpourri!)

On Sunday, my hubby and I took our boys (Liam + Mason) to their first pumpkin patch. It was so much fun!

I also received a new book to read (it also makes for a great coffee table book) by celebrity make up Artist, Mally Roncal called, Love, Lashes, And Lipstick: My Secrets for a Gorgeous, Happy Life. I enjoyed flipping through it on Sunday night, while sipping on a glass of wine and watching Real Housewives of New Jersey (oh, ya!)
