Claw Foot Tub { My wonderful claw foot tub♥ }

This weekend I definitely enjoyed doing things that made me happy!

Over the weekend I was able to take a bath again. Something I hadn’t done since July (since before my son was born)! I had my bath nice + hot, with extra bubbles, a glass of white wine, some soft tunes playing + I was able to read some #GirlBoss (a great read BTW, highly recommend it!)…And boy did I enjoy all 20 minutes of it before my son woke up!

I also did a little shopping + got a few things for my kitchen from Sur La Table. Confession: (I’m OBSESSED with kitchen tools + decor)! When I walked into Sur La Table, I noticed all the Parisian-style dinnerware, bakeware + accessories – I couldn’t help but to take some pieces for my home! Confession #2: (I’m also OBSESSED with EVERYTHING Parisian. Touches of Parisian decor is just so chic + has elements of coziness in a home that I personally love).

I purchased this ‘Night Night Darling Boy’ print from Lara Casey Shop (LCS), for both of my babies rooms. I just think it’s so precious! The LCS designs inspiring products, with the purpose of reminding us what’s important in life, like faith + family. Love that! I hope you check it out.

Thank the Lord, stone crab season has begun here in Florida!!! My hubby + I took my mother-in-law (who was visiting us from Cleveland), to stuff our faces with this delicious crustacean! Crab is one of my favorite things to eat + I definitely was on a food high when I was eating those jumbo claws!

(This, Oh-so-cute instant camera! I spent the weekend taking snap shots of my kids with it. So fun!)

This weekend was the first time my husband and I took our 5-week-old son Mason, out in public as a family of FOUR ♥(I have spent most of our time at home + strolling around our neighborhood). It was time to GET OUT!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend with my family (my mom, sister + niece). We strolled up and down Lincoln Road here, in Miami Beach. Lincoln Road, for those who aren’t familiar, is comparable to The Promenade in Santa Monica, California (if you’re not familiar with The Promenade either… then, sorry. I’m out of references!) We did a little shopping + eating + lots of walking.

I bought my instant camera and this Amazingggg potpourri (↓) for our home.

On Sunday, my hubby and I took our boys (Liam + Mason) to their first pumpkin patch. It was so much fun!

I also received a new book to read (it also makes for a great coffee table book) by celebrity make up Artist, Mally Roncal called, Love, Lashes, And Lipstick: My Secrets for a Gorgeous, Happy Life. I enjoyed flipping through it on Sunday night, while sipping on a glass of wine and watching Real Housewives of New Jersey (oh, ya!)

Simple Pleasures: Baby Edition

July 30, 2014

I’m expecting my 2nd baby soon & the products I featured are completely new to me. I’m excited to try them!

{ My new rockaRoo seat from 4 Moms }

{ This foldable “Flexi Bath” from Stokke }

This bath is so cool & convenient. It folds flat in the middle so you can store it, travel or move it around the house easier.

photo 4-5

{ This hands-free hooded infant towel from Puj  is awesome! }

Towel stays secure using interlocking silicone tabs around the neck (where the heck was this towel when I had my first?!).

This towel will give me more piece of mind, knowing that I have both hands free to dry my baby with!
It’s made from thick, ultra-soft cotton.

photo 1-4{ Gia Nursing Pillow from Dr. Brown’s }

I used the Boppy with my first. I still have it too. But…I’m not a fan of the Boppy. I always had to use extra support – prop a pillow or two under it on the side I was nursing on. That got annoying quick! But I put up with it.

And NOW…

Ta-Daaa!

I can’t wait to try this nursing pillow! Hopefully it will solve all the problems the Boppy couldn’t…fingers crossed!

Have you tried any of these products? Please tell me how you like them in the comments.
